Toronto police are searching for two vehicles that struck and killed a pedestrian in Scarborough on Thursday night.

Investigators say the incident occurred in the Birchmount Road and St. Clair Avenue East area around 9:30 p.m.

Police say the pedestrian was struck by two vehicles, which did not remain at the scene. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

One vehicle is described as white, last seen going northbound on Birchmount Road while the second vehicle is described as black, last seen heading south on Birchmount.
