A male has been rushed to hospital after being found shot in Scarborough.

Toronto police were called to Cedar Drive and Eglinton Avenue around 8:30 p.m. for reports of a male lying on the sidewalk.

He was taking to hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries.

No suspect information has been released.
