Male walks into hospital with gunshot wound: police

A male has walked into a Toronto hospital with a gunshot wound on Friday evening, police confirmed.

Officers say the male has sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities haven’t released any details about the circumstances of the shooting, but they say it happened around 6 p.m., which is when the victim showed up at the hospital.

Sounds of gunshots heard in York

Earlier today, police were called to the area of Oakwood Avenue and Gloucester Grove just after 5:20 p.m. for multiple gunshots heard.

Investigators say one male has been taken to custody, and a firearm was recovered.

Similar incident early Friday morning

Meanwhile, police are investigating another incident after a man walked into a hospital early Friday morning with a gunshot wound.

It’s unknown if the three incidents are connected.
