2 high-school students stabbed in Oshawa, 2 suspects wanted

Police are searching for two suspects after two high-schoolers were stabbed in Oshawa.

Officers with Durham Regional Police Service and paramedics were called to the area of Harmony Road North and Coldstream Drive, near Taunton Road East, around 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

When emergency responders arrived, they found a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old from nearby Maxwell Heights Secondary School suffering from stab wounds. The teens were taken to a Toronto-area hospital with non-life thretaening injuries.

A hold and secure was put in place at the high school as investigators conducted a search for the suspects. That order was lifted 45 minutes later.

Investigators say the stabbing did not occur on school property and they believe it was an “isolated incident.”

Police are searching for two suspects. The first is described as male, Black with a light complexion, 15 to 16 years old. He was last seen wearing a black track suit. The second suspect is described as male, Black with a dark complexion, 15 to 16 years old. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured track suit.
