Toronto police say a hold-and-secure at Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute in Scarborough has been lifted after a gun investigation earlier Tuesday.

Officers were called at around 1:10 p.m. for reports of a person with a gun seen in the area.

In a social media post, police said the gun was seen outside the school near Danforth Avenue and Birchmount Road.

No injuries have been reported.

A suspect fled in a dark sedan, and remains at large, police said in an update.
