A man has been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke.

Toronto police say they were called to the Dundas Street West and Acorn Avenue area near Kipling Station around 7:20 p.m. for reports a pedestrian has been struck.

The male pedestrian was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Dundas is closed between Acorn and Aukland Road.
