People Regional Police are investigating after a man was killed Friday in what authorities describe as a workplace injury.

Emergency crews were called to 227 Advance Boulevard in Brampton on Friday afternoon.

Traffic closures were briefly in effect on Advance Boulevard between Tomken Road and Dixie Road.

No other details were provided.
