A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after being struck by a pick-up truck in the Malvern area.

Toronto police were called to Neilson Road and McLevin Avenue just after 3:30 p.m.

The teen, believed to be either 14 or 15 years old, was taken to the hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained on the scene.
