Toronto police are searching for a suspect after a male teen was stabbed in the Yonge Street and Bloor Street East area on Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to the area just after 2 p.m. and found the victim with stab wounds. His exact age has not been released.
The male was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
It’s alleged the suspect went up to the victim and his friend before stabbing the victim.
The suspect involved fled northbound on Yonge Street into a TTC station.
The man is described as five foot five to five foot nine inches with a thin build. He was wearing a white zip-up hooded sweater, beige pants, black shoes, a black head covering, and a black cross body bag.
