Toronto police say a suspicious package found at a warehouse in Scarborough has been examined and there is no risk to public safety.

Officers were called to McNicoll Avenue and Tapscott Road just before 6:30 p.m.

People were evacuated from the warehouse and the Explosive Disposal Unit was called to the scene who determined there was no risk.
